Our Founder

Founded in 2019 by Karen Vargas, MBA, CTA, Vargas Travel serves church groups, institutions, and families in arranging group tours to Israel and Disney. Karen and her family first visited Israel in 2019 in celebration of her parents 25th wedding anniversary. It was during that trip that Karen’s entrepreneurial heart and passion led her to launch Vargas Travel. In 2020 she partnered with Disney and expanded the services offered through My Vargas Travel.

Karen continues to serve in her local church, Bethel Christian Church which is located in Phoenix, AZ. She has been the leader of the Children’s Ministry, Young Adult Ministry and Mission’s Ministry. Currently she serves as the Southwest District's NextGen Director. Karen is a servant-leader with a passion for traveling and serving others.
